Worth knowing before you sign
- · Only the entry price is published. $97/mo for 100 calls/mo is the single figure on the public site; the Advanced (500 calls/mo) and Premium (2,500 calls/mo) tiers exist in the app's billing screen with no published price.
- · Plans are metered in calls, not minutes. Only the request-only Pay As You Go plan is per-minute, at $0.19/min with a 250 minutes/month floor to keep numbers active.
- · There is no overage charge — exceeding your tier's monthly call count results in your phone numbers being released, per the site FAQ.
- · Outbound calling is limited by default to one call per destination number per 24-hour period, and you can only call a number that called you first. Connecting your own Twilio account removes both restrictions.
- · Number porting is not offered. The FAQ's stated method for keeping your existing number is forwarding missed calls (or all calls) to the number Simple Phones assigns.
- · No named CRM or calendar integrations are published. The FAQ says their team builds CRM connections on request and can send Zapier-compatible webhooks.
- · Call recordings are not mentioned anywhere in the help centre; the call-detail API response documents start time, end time, minutes used and a text transcript only.
- · Agent changes are made by Simple Phones' team through a "change request" in your dashboard rather than self-served in a builder.
